'In this photographic composition the domestic setting combines multiple viewpoints, creating ambiguity in the space in which the character is placed. The home environment open up a space for questioning assumed ideas related to the global North and the global South, as location cannot easily be deduced by visual clues. The gesture of the character in the images suggest that ‘global conversations’ are also to be had with oneself, as means of introspection and explorations of inner realms.’
